My time in Boulder has been awesome, aged by ten years yesterday by sun-burning my whole body. I tried to go for a hike, but realized it's not quite summer time, and the trails still have snow on them. But since I really have nothing to do while I'm here, which is really nice, I am in Christine and Angie's finance class right now...wooohooo! I'm down in Boulder now, not because it's 4/20, but because I want to see my friends before I'm off to Aspen for the summer. I don't get Boulder on 420...it has become a holiday practically and gives every wannabe '"hippie", or people who think they are a "hippie" a reason to dress like one and act like one all day. The weather man was right this time, and I ended up having an awesome powder day with Karl! The only downside to the day, once we got home, our power went out...sick. Now we are at our friend's house hanging, baking cookies, watching movies. Having the best day ever. I think tomorrow should be a sweet day too!
mmmm:) Since the power was out...had to open garage manually. Karl is too small!

Spring time has approached Breck, well kind of. The weather has been hit or miss the whole month of April. The weather man has been extremely wrong, sometimes in a good way, but today he was right...snow snow snow. This snow would be awesome if it was February, but since it's April 16 and all I want to do is ride spring slushy conditions, it sucks.

I just got back to Breck from Mammoth today. The chicken jam was there, and it was an awesome contest! The weather was sooo good everyday, except the slope finals day which got postponed (120 mph winds), and Roxy hooked it up with $25 a day meal cards, and an athletes area. The course was super fun, a big hip to a rail or box, to 3 jumps to 2 wall ride options. The pipe was a lot of fun as well. I decided to drive to boulder last night before my flight out of denver this morning. i heard it was supposed to snow in denver today, and i didnt feel like driving in the snow super early...anyways, my drive from breck to boulder last night was one of the worst drives i've ever had to do! It had already been blizzarding for an hour. So i got to drive in prime blizzard conditions! good job jordie! here's a pic from my phone

Hey! Just got back to colorado yesterday from VT. I haven't been home since 2 1/2 weeks ago, feels nice! Even though I didn't do well at the Open, it was still an awesome event to watch, the guys were killing it. We got to see Santigold and I met her dancers that night at a party, it was sweet! It finally started to snow yesterday in Breck, and still snowing this morning.
